Homeowners Association

Dickinson Meadow is designed to strike a balance between the independence of single-family homes and yards and the advantages of having a common drive and a shared landscape for cultivation and recreation. In envisioning Dickinson Meadow, architect Ray Kinoshita Mann has carefully preserved many existing natural features and contours, optimizing water run-off and collection. Equally important, the environment is further enhanced through ongoing ecologically sound cultivation. A variety of fruit-bearing and specimen trees and bushes are being planted throughout the project to enhance privacy between the houses at the same time that they create neighborly places to enjoy the outdoors and harvest food.

Each property has its own deeded boundaries, but with agreed-upon areas of shared maintenance, such as the common driveway, walkway and utility lines, the wooded boundary, common plantings and a focal rainwater garden water feature, plus recycling and trash collection. Ecological practices are encouraged, and these and other guidelines are carefully outlined in the Homeowner’s Agreement.
